Health Safety & Environment (HS&E) Manager
Up to £55k Basic salary
We are seeking an HSE Manager to oversee a large-scale manufacturing site for the Aerospace industry. The site covers many areas including special process functions, machine shops and a laboratory. This is a challenging and complex role working with a high-profile and popular South West employer.
As a result of succession planning, due to retirement, our client is recruiting for an Health, Safety & Environment Manager at their Gloucestershire location. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to drive the HSE strategy forward in line with the evolution of the business.
In summary, the role will include;
In an ideal world, you'll be undertaking a similar role within a similar organisation. However, there is flexibility on this. If you have worked in a manufacturing environment involving chemicals, large-scale machinery and complex products that are moved around site, then we would certainly be interested in hearing from you.
You will also have knowledge of COSHH and COMAH. This is a Health, Safety and Environment position, so we would like you to at least have an understanding of environmental considerations against health & safety regulations in the absence of practical experience.
You will also have some previous experience of line managing or leading a team, and will have the aspiration to develop in this area.
You will possess a NEBOSH diploma or will have completed at least two of the four modules, working actively towards completion.
This company is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. They do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
