Experienced HR Co-ordinator required for an Airport Services company, based at Heathrow Airport. Supporting the HR Manager, you will play a key role in HR-related issues and queries, ensuring that all staff issues and requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
The responsibilities of the HR Co-ordinator include:
Acting as a 'go-to figure' for staff members.
Overseeing and finalising any DBS checks, permanent /temporary passes and references for airside staff.
Contributing towards employee meetings, including any disciplinary or grievance ones.
Completing any starter and leaver processes, which includes inductions, documentation and potential exit interviews.
Maintaining and updating personal records including holidays, benefits, absences etc.
Providing support to the recruitment process, including posting adverts, scheduling the interview process, communicating with any potential recruitment agencies, collecting any necessary interview forms / contracts and supplying all the candidate's information to the Payroll team.
Preparing contracts/ letters in the event of a change to employee terms and conditions.
Escalating any big issues of concern to the relevant senior manager, when the HR manager is not present.
Other general administration duties, such as filing, scanning and operating the telephone.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 years proven experience within an HR environment, with an impressive knowledge of any current legislation. Good PC skills on Microsoft Office software would be a great advantage, alongside great written and oral ability.
You will also have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, whilst being able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, being authoritative and firm when required.
