Senior Subject Matter Expert who:

a) is accountable for IATA's achievement of the Training and Consulting Line of Business (LOB) divisional targets across the region

b) drives mapping of value-add solutions to member and other stakeholder account needs as well as provide intelligence to further enhance IATA solutions and develops the business further

Responsibilities

1. Line of Business (LOB) Point of Contact for Headquarter Division

•Act as the regional Point of Contact between Headquarter and the Region for all Training and Consulting matters; Maintain strong functional interface with the Marketing and Commercial Services (MACS) Division and benefit from central resources, campaigns, material, competence, events and general support

2. Business Development and Delivery Oversight :

•Identify value-add training and consulting business solutions to meet needs of members and stakeholders as received by Account Managers;

•Develop and coordinate action plans on a country by country basis, to achieve the training and consulting line of business (LOB) commercial targets across the region, ensuring both a unified regional approach and an adequate country-specific coverage.

•Support building a medium to long term yet dynamic commercial regional strategy

•Own planning and execution of all commercial annual campaigns, new central divisional initiatives, IATA industry-wide programs and regional priorities agreed upon in the MACS strategy prioritizing training and consulting LOBs

•Prepare, oversee and monitor consulting services and training solutions delivery through the agile Regional Delivery Team in collaboration with the Head, Business Delivery

•Enhance existing IATA's solutions, identify and develop new, high quality, market-driven products, services and industry initiatives based on sound market intelligence and customer satisfaction about products and services delivered, in collaboration with the Business Development team

•Participate in building and maintaining a proactive and coordinated approach to relationships with regional stakeholders, and ensure the region is following best practices in account management.

•Maintain fairness and impartiality in order to preserve and protect the best interest and continuing viability and effectives of the Association

•Provide timely reports to the regional PMO and MACS senior management regarding the progress of work and the achievement of set objectives;

3. Expert Coaching and Thought Leadership

•Support the account managers in achieving commercial initiatives, objectives, activities, services and products and support achieving regional targets as set in the country action plans;

•Actively support the talent development of the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the Regional Delivery Team

•Foster a culture of inclusion, integrity, team spirit, strategic thinking, partnering, innovative pioneering and acting with a human touch

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any other relevant discipline,

•Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a similar role with at least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial management role at a regional level

•Advanced Proficiency in MS Office and CRMs (e.g. Salesforce)

•Fluency in English (CEFR: C1)

Preferred Qualifications

•Advanced degree is an asset e.g. MBA

•Previous Experience in managing, leading or overseeing projects is an asset

•A strong track record of successful public speaking engagements

•Proficiency in regional languages (CEFR B1)
