A leading global business aviation services provider with a strong presence in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is looking for an experienced Head of Business Development. This position is pivotal to driving business growth and enhancing client relationships, with a focus on aircraft management and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services.

The Role
We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead efforts in expanding our clients market presence across the MEA region. The successful candidate will play a critical role in securing new business, cultivating client relationships. This role requires in-depth knowledge of FBO services and business aviation in the Middle East, alongside a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive growth in Aircraft Management and FBO services within the MEA region
  • Identify and secure opportunities to bring new aircraft under management (private and AOCs)
  • Develop compelling proposals for prospective clients
  • Achieve high-volume hangar sales for the new FBO/VIP terminal facility
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of targeted leads, converting them into new business
  • Generate new leads, write proposals, and close contracts for aircraft management and FBO services
  • Analyze market trends and competition to develop effective sales campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to craft and execute business expansion strategies

Client & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, their offices, and key stakeholders
  • Nurture long-term relationships with aircraft brokers, operators, ground operations, and trip support providers
  • Focus on client retention, leveraging the company’s solid reputation and track record

Strategic Planning & Marketing

  • Lead marketing initiatives to support business growth and visibility
  • Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies for achieving growth targets
  • Identify business expansion opportunities in other sectors
  • Oversee the development of partnerships with key industry stakeholders
  • Enhance company visibility by attending and networking at industry events in the Middle East and abroad

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other business units to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Work with group leaders to maximize business impact and growth

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive sales or business development experience within Business Aviation, FBO, and Aircraft Management, with a specific focus on the Middle East
  • Proven track record of securing and closing high-value contracts
  • Results-driven, with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • High financial acumen and ability to assess opportunity profitability
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and multitasking skills
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to identify and exploit market opportunities
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages (particularly Arabic) are a plus
