Aviatic MRO is a new aircraft maintenance repair organization operating out of Siauliai International Airport, Lithuania (SQQ). As a freshly-born company in the sector and established by a passionate team of aviation professionals, we have an ambitious goal to become a leading center for maintenance in the region, providing a wide range of services, including line and base maintenance, continuing airworthiness management and spare parts supply. Just 3 hours flight from all major European hubs, Aviatic MRO delivers custom maintenance solutions for the Airbus A320 family, Boeing 737 Classic and NG series. We are now looking for an expert Head of Base Maintenance to join our team!

Duties/Responsibilities:

•Actively lead narrow body hangar project development and implementation;

•Organize and manage base maintenance facilities and relevant shops establishment and operations;

•Ensure obtaining of tools and equipment necessary for planned activities; 

•Create and implement effective and reliable supply of organization with spare parts, materials, resources, tools and equipment to ensure all activities perform without interruptions;  

•Lead creation and implementation of manpower attraction and employment strategy, training, motivation and salaries system, manage team effectively;

•Ensure execution of clients' aircraft maintenance in most effective way, not compromising quality and airworthiness standard and agreed timelines;

•Create and implement set of processes and procedures, necessary for relevant certification and effective work organization;  

•Lead certification of the organization in accordance with EASA Part 145 regulations;

•Cooperate with authorities, OEM’s and other organisations, participate in aircraft maintenance processes, establish goals and their interaction;

•Participate actively in organization budget preparation and effective implementation.

Qualifications requirements:

•A degree in Aviation Engineering or an equivalent degree obtained at a university or other type of higher education establishment, recognised by a competent institution;

•At least 8 years of experience in aircraft base maintenance, at least 3 of them in management position;

•Knowledge of human resources management;

•Knowledge of MRO budget composition and cost control principles;

•Knowledge of A320 Family, B737 CL/NG types and base maintenance methods (Part 66 license in one of these types would be an advantage);

•Knowledge of modern MRO IT systems;

•Knowledge of relevant regulation, including but not limited to EASA Part 145, part M, Part 66 and Part 147;

•Fluent English (speaking and written).
