About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Structures Supervisor (B4T) to work on the Hawk aircraft.

You'll be responsible for the provision of Forward and Depth support for the Hawk T2 aircraft. This may extend to incorporate Hawk T1 work.

The successful applicant will report to the Depth Manager and will carry out / supervise tasking in order to complete the day-to-day maintenance activities within the Hawk environment.

You'll need to have a good working knowledge of aircraft structural repairs. Airframe / Propulsion trade tasks will be required to be undertaken in line with Operational priorities when Structures specific work is complete / a low priority.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to have current grade / experience of B3T (Mechanical Tech) within the Company or Equivalent and hold NVQ Level 3 in Aircraft Airframe / Prop Maintenance or equivalent.

Would also like to you have experience in all of the some of the below:

  •  Received military / civilian aircraft technical training in the Airframe / Prop Discipline.
  •  Has attended supervisory management training.
  •  Should possess experience working in an aircraft engineering environment with practical structural repair experience either in aircraft manufacture or as part of a repair team.
  •  Able to interpret and follow technical drawings accurately.

What else do I need to know?
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
