Hawk T1 Role Bay Supervisor

About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Hawk T1 Role Bay Supervisor.

You'll be responsible for Role Bay engineering depth maintenance activities, in support of Hawk T1 contract at RAF Valley.

The main purpose of your role will be to ensure that serviceable role bay equipment is available to meet Hawk T1 operations. The manning resource is to be fully utilised to ensure suitable qualified personnel are available to maintain Hawk T1 role equipment, pyrotechnics and start valves in a timely and cost effective manner. In addition to bay maintenance requirements this role requires the provision of maintenance support to AMRO seat installation/removals.

The Seat Bay Hawk T1 Supervisor is responsible for but is not limited to;

* Ensuring that all Hawk Role bay maintenance tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner, on time and to the highest standard.
* Assistance with installation / removal of Hawk T1 ejection seats when required to support the AMRO maintenance schedule.
* Maintenance and preparation of explosively operated equipment and pyrotechnics in support of Hawk T1 depth maintenance.
* Checking that all equipment and materials required for tasking is available and reporting all deficiencies.
* Ensuring all tool control procedures IAW the relevant Acceptable Means of Compliance are followed.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need 5 years industry experience within support bay based armourment trade, 3 years of supervisory experience within the aviation maintenance environment, experience of Ejection seat maintenance either on or off aircraft, experience of maintaining and arming/disarming of explosively operated equipment and pyrotechnics, training in relevant discipline Mechanical/Electrical to City and Guilds Level or level 3 equivalent (completed an apprenticeship), completion of Supervisors in Aviation, Full Driving Licence and working knowledge and use of IT Operating Systems (MS Office Suite) and the Internet.
