Luviair, a private helicopter management company, seeks a licensed helicopter engineer (A&P/IA) to act as a dedicated aircraft engineer for a new H145 helicopter embarked upon a support vessel to a private yacht.

This requires the technician to have confidence in his or her ability to perform tasks without supervision, whilst liaising closely with the Part M/Part 145 to coordinate scheduled maintenance in order to maximise aircraft availability for the client.
This contract is expected to follow a global cruising program with time in Europe and the Caribbean.
When on duty the successful candidate will live onboard the support vessel in single accommodation or ashore in hotels.
General duties involve:
• Light maintenance tasks, primarily aircraft husbandry, general care of the aircraft on board the yacht, and release to service duties after minor maintenance (such as blade folding/removal).
• Maintenance coordination with the CAMO/Part 145 ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed of all planned and unplanned maintenance requirements.
• Performing base maintenance at the Part 145 workshop during maintenance periods as required and as permitted.
