We are currently searching one Mechanical Engineer for a 1 year contract (renewable).
The job holder will be responsible for performing daily and line maintenance activity in accordance with Customer’s regulations and procedures.
be based at the customer premises (BELGIUM).
have to support the mechanical part of the inspections from daily to 300 hours of flight excluded.
have to perform troubleshooting and to release to service the helicopter if it’s fit for the schedule flight
be integrated in the LB Customer MOE in order to be able to use and sign his/her own job
have to coordinate him/her self with LB Maintenance management
have to work autonomously and/or with a limited support from other specialists
His/her responsibilities include (but not be limited to):
Hand-on activities on aircraft;
Cooperate with the other customer’s ground engineers and managers;
Maintain the work bay clean and ordered
Comply with the health and safety requirements set by the Customer
Remain updated on helicopter’s technology and configuration to meet the requirements of the LB Customer;
Support Customer Technical and Logistic Office staff Ground in the management of Work package and spares
Coordinate him/her self with LB Maintenance management
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
be eligible to work in a civil EASA environment
have an EASA B1.3 Maintenance License with no limitation.
good command of both written and spoken English; for non-native English speakers a CEFR English Exam certificate shall be provided (minimum level accepted B2). in the absence of the certificate, the satisfactory level of English-language proficiency shall be demonstrated to recruitment team through an oral assessment
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
hold a rating on AW139
professional experience of at least 10 years in the aviation maintenance (in the helicopter environment);
professional experience of at least 5 years in the AW139 maintenance;
ability to use contemporary standard computer applications such as office suites, email clients, digital document viewers, internet browsers, etc;
hold other ratings on multi Engines Helicopters
fluency in French;
experience in working in a corporate civil aviation environment
In addition to the requirements above, candidate which will go through the selection, and eventually invited for an interview, may also be assessed against the following:
Ability to work autonomously with a limited support from other professionals.
Communication: ability to communicate in a way that engages the attention of the target group, capacity to use proper Simplified Technical English;
Communicating effectively in oral and written English;
Quality Orientation / Customer focus: ability to deliver high quality maintenance activities, meeting needs of customers;
