As a GNC Engineer, you will provide advanced concept development, design, implementation, test, and evaluation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The position can include time in office, lab, and infrequent flight test environments depending on program/task.
You will demonstrate success by:
· Development of outer-loop control algorithms utilizing feedback from a variety of sensors for precision guidance and ISR mission support
· Development of inner-loop control algorithms for vehicle stability and performance
· Development of navigation solutions using GPS and/or alternate-sensor aiding
· Development of high-fidelity 6DOF math models to simulate/recreate dynamic behavior of airborne flight systems and their sub-components
· Other duties as assigned

Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering degree with an emphasis on Control Theory (advanced degree preferred)
0-3 years of experience using integrated sensor systems for guidance and/or navigation
Fluency in Matlab/Simulink for development and analysis
Working knowledge in C/C++ programming
Experience with modeling and control of power plant/propulsion systems
Working knowledge in control design and application (classical and modern)
Excellent root-cause analysis and debugging skills from live or simulated flight data
Positive mental attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness and desire to document and communicate technical solutions with team
US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain additional clearances, as required
Active DoD Secret clearance desired
Experience with GPS and alternate-sensor hardware as applied to navigation development/solutions is desired
