Resource Group is currently hiring a Gestor Responsável for a foreign capital newly created airline to be based in Sao Paulo, Brasil, on a permanent basis.

The Gestor Responsável will be the identifiable person in the certificate holder´s organizational structure before ANAC that will have final authority over operations conducted under applicable regulations; decide on the allocation of human, financial and technical resources and be accountable for the operational safety performance.

Responsibilities:

Regardless of other responsibilities to the organization, Gestor Responsável will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the SGSO - Sistema de Gerenciamento da Segurança Operacional is implemented effectively in all areas of the organization, in accordance with the applicable requirements, in a consistent manner with the size and complexity of the operations.
  • Communicate to the entire organization the importance of conducting operations accordingly with the applicable operational safety requirements.
  • Establish and sign the operational safety policy and communicate the importance of commitment of all employees to that policy, ensuring that it remains appropriate to the organization.
  • Ensure the availability of the necessary resources to guarantee the achievement of the operational safety objectives and for the management of the SGSO.
  • Ensure that the decision-making of other managers is guided by an institutionalized risk assessment process, considering the potential impacts of its decisions to operational security.
  • Conduct critical analysis of the SGSO management, aiming to ensure the continuous improvement of the system.
  • Regularly review the operational safety performance and take the necessary measures to deal with any unsatisfactory operational safety performance.
  • Ensure that security management prerogatives and operational structure responsibilities are clearly and objectively established and communicated in all areas of organization.
  • Ensure that all personnel of the organization involved in activities with an impact on operational safety complies with applicable requirements and internal competence criteria, experience and training to exercise their prerogatives and responsibilities.
  • Ensure that operational safety objectives are established, measurable and in line with the operational safety policy.
  • Ensure that strategic plans, systems, manuals and other internal policy documents related to the management of the SGSO are approved by the competent managers.
  • Ensure that effective mechanisms for internal communication and with authorities are established regarding the performance and continuous improvement of the SGSO; and

To ensure the integrity and performance of the SGSO, in case of internal changes (within the organization or SGSO) or external changes that have potential impacts on the operation.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the aviation industry with at least 5 years in a management /senior manager position.
