We are searching for a flight support engineer in Reykjavik, Iceland.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for all technical matters of our Airbus fleet reporting to the Flight Support Manager.
Your will be actively be involved in evaluating new aircraft systems and modifications and define their operational impact in order to have adequate information and to ensure safe operations.
YOUR SCOPE OF WORK MIGTH INCLUDE:
Customization and Update of the Technical Manuals in coordination with the technical pilots.
Weight and Balance Program follow up
Track service bulletins, engineering orders and airworthiness directives that might affect the Technical manuals
New operations Analysis
Other technical projects
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar
Experience with Flight Operations Engineering preferably within an airline operations environment desired
Expertise in Airbus operational manuals (Attendance to Airbus Training programs related to Flight Ops are a desirable) is an advantage
Must have excellent communication skills (report writing and presentations), to enable communication at all levels, internally and externally.
Excellent IT skills including Light programming
Fluency in verbal and written English
Demonstrated autonomy and ability to take initiatives
