Reporting to the Flight Planning & ATC Duty Manager, the Flight Planning & ATC Coordinator is responsible for day to day running of the flight programme from a navigational perspective, including Air Traffic Control Slot Management, network updates and operational assistance as well as maintenance of the Company's flight planning system. You will work closely with the wider Operations Team in order to ensure our operation and service delivery are supported.

The Flight Planning & ATC Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and reducing delays allocated to all Jet2.com flights in relation to Air Traffic Control regulations. You will also produce operational flight plans for all Jet2.com flights in a timely manner for crew briefs on outbound and return sector flights, ensuring that all operational information including Met and NOTAM packs are produced accurately. You will undertake regular weather checks for all Jet2.com bases and destinations and monitor geographical areas for any matters which may disrupt the flying programme.

In addition, you will also undertake duties such as collating information for new routes to build information packs and support your line manager and the wider Operations Team with reporting, analysis and administration as required.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, have an analytical mind and an understanding of flight operations. You will be able to read and assimilate technical data quickly and accurately and be adaptable to changing situations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an aviation environment and be computer literate. This is a rostered position working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern to meet the demands of the flying programme.
