Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Advanced Aviation Management Programme (AAMP)

QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the position of Flight Instructor.

  • Hold a valid ICAO/FAA/EASA ATPL or CPL with a valid IR(A) and unrestricted FI (A) ratings valid for Single Engine Aircraft. Multi Engine rating would be an added advantage.
  •  Must be a holder of valid Medical class I certificate
  • Minimum of 1500 total flying hours.
  • Minimum of 1000 hours total flight time as a flight instructor.
  • At least 80 hours of instrument flight time.
  • Minimum 300 Hours of instrument instruction time.
  • At least 04 years of aviation experience out of which minimum of 2 years in flight instruction.
  • Hold an ICAO Level 4 (or higher) certificate of aviation language competency in English
  • Experience in MPL training, Diamond Aircraft and G1000 would be added advantage.
  • Have a good standard of education and preference will be given to those who holds Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in aviation related field.
  • Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
