We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to fulfil the position of Flight Dispatcher (FOO) and join our team in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Featuring among the duties associated with the position:

  • Global IFR/VFR, short range and ultra-long rage EROPS / ETOPS flight planning in compliance with 2 AOC’s, flight safety and flight planning laws.
  • Flight feasibility checks.
  • Coordinating airport slots and prior permissions.
  • Arranging handling/fuel/VIP and additional lavatory, water, towing, GPU, ASU equipment for the aircraft as necessary.
  • Arranging over flight/landing permissions globally.
  • Managing passenger details and arranging customs and immigration services as required for example EAPIS.
  • Reading and analyze FIR/Enroute/Station Notams, TAF and METAR in the preparation and final dispatch stage of flight planning and acting accordingly should they affect.
  • Arranging additional insurance coverage for aircraft operating into and out of places/countries on coverage exclusion lists and have UN sanctions against them.
  • Maintaining watch of worldwide traffic flow and planning accordingly.
  • Updating crew of slots that may be incurred due to European Central flow management.
  • Worldwide Weather monitoring.
  • Geopolitics and security monitoring.
  • Crew briefings prepration



Successful applicants are required to have:


  • Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of working in a Dispatch department
  • Knowledge of regulations and requirements.
  • A highly process driven approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record as a ‘Team Player’.
  • Willingness to work to objectives set by the Head of OCC
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work under high pressure
  • Customer oriented
  • EU national or eligible to work and reside in Europe
  • Willing to relocate to Slovenia


  • Holds a valid Dispatch License.
  • Previous experience with PPS flight planning software
