This is a “Finance-In-Charge” role that manages, handles and supervises Finance at the station in line with QR policies and internal accounting procedures. You will support the strategic planning, decision making, costing, project management, financial planning and analysis. You will also establish and recommend operating procedures; establish major schedules and task assignments within area of responsibility. You will also be involved in budgetary planning with a focus on cost effectiveness and control.
Specific accountabilities include:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelors Degree combined with a minimum of five years of job-related experience. A professional qualification such as a CA/CPA would be well regarded. You will need a strong background in either expenditure or revenue accounting with a preference for those that have airline experience. Knowledge of contracts, local laws and regulations (such as VAT, Tax, Payroll) is required.
