Have you ever been responsible for managing your own or other people's budgets? Do you plan your spending to ensure you have money left to save at the end of each month? Do you have an interest in using Excel to solve data problems? Do you like to find innovative ways to visualise complex data using charts and graphs?
If so then you may be interested in this developmental role within Finance at Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill. You will have the opportunity to progress in the apprenticeship up to Level 5 and gain an AAT qualification.
Approximately 20% of your time during the working week will be set aside to complete your academic studies as well as being released to attend any off site study events as required.
This varied Finance Apprenticeship role will cover at least the following:
* Data analysis and interrogation
* Variance analysis
* Journal/Accrual creation and entry
* Month End processing
* Invoice processing
* General Admin Tasks

Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill is a rapidly changing, dynamic part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation with both domestic and international customers. Required skills, qualifications and experience
* 5 GCSE pass grades including Maths and English.
* Good eye for detail.
* Keen interest in finance or accounting.
* Capable with Excel, including writing basic formulas and creating simple graphs/charts.
* Aptitude for learning and willingness to take on new tasks.
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
* 2 A-Levels including Maths or Statistics or equivalent qualifications including modules in Maths or Statistics.
* Experience creating PowerPoint Presentations.
