Field Sales Support Systems Engineer

Description:The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for performing Support Equipment (SE) planning, identification, analysis and integration tasks. They will be required to accurately review and disposition engineering change requests for SE/Alternate Mission Equipment (AME) impact. They would be expected to respond to customer and field maintainer equipment inquiries and consistently interface with the customer, vendors, and leadership to convey project status/needs/risks. They will review Program Planning Package Documents (PPD's) technical statement of work (TSOWs), delivery Orders (DO's) Engineering change proposals(ECPs), and contract change proposals (CCP's) for SE/AME for IFG programs. They will work to resolve technical and support problems for assigned SE items by actively interfacing with engineering and/or supply chain management (SCM) as required.
Must be US Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a business or engineering discipline, or, company recognized equivalent experience combined with education with 2-5 years related experience.
Excellent communication skills and experience with Microsoft office programs. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data.
Hands on use of core Microsoft office applications
Ability to perform non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Develop recommendations for business issues, and able to professionally present to upper management. Experience in tracking budget and costs against schedules and assisting the project manager/integrator. Some understanding of the defense industry and the aircraft that LM produces.
Have competent written and oral skills.
