Individual will function as a Shift Lead providing guidance and support to Persistent Surveillance Systems - Tethered (PSS-T) flight operations team.
Shift Lead responsibilities additionally include, but are not limited to:
• Provide assistance and expertise to TOC officials, to include watch commander and battle captain in the implementation of a CONOP associated with Area of Responsibility (AOR) and mission requirements
• Analyze and develop reporting products as directed
• Interpretation of surveillance systems products
• Performs other duties as assigned
Individual will work as part of a team providing flight support; interpretation of surveillance systems products; O&M on aerostat avionics, acoustic sensors, ground sensors; operation of EO/IR sensor payloads, radar systems, military and telemetry radios. Conducts preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems/equipment.
Individuals must attend the Army – CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) and successfully complete Customer required pre-deployment physical and dental exams (USCENTCOM MOD 12 w/Tab A)(final medical deployment eligibility determination lies with the clinician providers assigned to the deployment center); prior to traveling into theater.
This assignment supports rotations in the United States and OCONUS to include Southwest Asia. Individual will perform duties while living in austere environments. Mission requirements dictate that Individuals be available for transfer on short-notice to work locations throughout the world.
Total compensation will vary upon rotation assignment
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a Current or active DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to successfully complete customer required pre-deployment physical and dental exams in accordance with USCENTCOM MOD 12 w/Tab A (final medical deployment eligibility determination lies with the clinician providers assigned to the deployment center)
Qualifying candidate will have supervisory/leadership experience, technical expertise with aerostat hardware, or tactical ground based ISR experience. A30 series level or greater from U.S. Army MOS 35F/G/H and 96R/U or a 40 series in any MOS or military branch equivalent. In addition to 10 years of experience, individual will be certified with one of the following:
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Truck Mechanic
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) General Mechanic 3
The individual will additionally require training in UTAMS, Kestrel, HARC, MS Series, E-UGS, and TCDL.
Proficient with the MS Office Suite and all common Windows/Unix/Linux OS.
Effective oral and written communications skills
Candidate must have a minimum 2 years hands-on aerostat operations and maintenance (O&M) experience.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
O&M of C4ISR systems.
Experience with compressed gas systems
Cisco Certified Network Expert (CCIE)
Experience with RAID server admin, troubleshooting and repair.
A+ Network + and Security+ CompTIA certifications.
Experience/certifications in lead soldering.
Familiarity with military operations, acronyms, and military chain of command.
O&M of Electro-Mechanical equipment to include one or more of the following:
• Electrical Systems
• Hydraulic Systems
• Aerial Lift
• Industrial Generator Sets
