Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Cabin Crew Rostering department in SIA Flight Operations Division. He/She will conduct scenario simulations, feasibility studies and analysis for Cabin Crew Rostering (CCR). In addition, he/she will manage impacted processes, applications and systems enhancements for the Crew Rostering System (CRS) and Crew Manager (CM) systems.

Responsibilities include:

• To plan the optimisation and publication of the monthly Cabin Crew rosters, in accordance to the regulatory requirements, service requirements, industrial and work rules, and targets built in the Jeppesen Crew Rostering (JCR) and Crew Manager (CM) systems.

• To support and manage CRS and CM, as well as projects undertaken by CCR

o Develop strategies, conduct and analyse scenario simulations and feasibility studies through data engineering and business analytics on projects and operational initiatives (i.e. update improved policies and work processes).

o  Review rules, adjust roster parameter and raise system enhancements to improve the crew target hours and crew productivity.

o Prepare business requirements, specifications, test scripts and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for the projects.

o Prepare and track project plans to ensure they are completed and implemented in a timely fashion with quality results.

o Coordinate with various stakeholders for systems delivery.

o Prepare presentation materials for management review and union negotiations.

• To review the existing rostering policies and work processes in CCR

o Leverage on technology and develop and implement ways to automate/streamline manual rostering processes.

o Ensure user manuals, and appropriate documentation are prepared and updated.

Requirements

• A good degree, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering or Information Technology.

• Experience in IT Projects is preferred.

• A team player, with
positive attitude.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent planning and organisation skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
