ENGINEERING MANAGER - LUTON
Based in Luton, this role reports to the Engineering Director. The key accountability for this role is to ensure that the Engineering Department complies with the regulatory requirements as specified by the Competent Authorities and the Compliance Monitoring Department.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include the following:
HOURS OF WORK
The hours for this position are as required for the business. However, the general working days are Monday to Friday based on a 40 hour working week.
The Engineering Manager is required to provide an exceptionally high level of service and is responsible for ensuring that business needs are met in a timely and appropriate manner. The role will require occasional travel to our suppliers and other bases, dependent on the needs of the business.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate for this demanding role must have demonstrable experience to fulfil this role. Ideally applicants will have previous experience within Business Aviation or a similar position. Applicants must be acceptable to the CAA or other authorities as a nominated post holder.
It is vital that all applicants;
- Must have the Qualifications and / or experience to apply for & hold a CAA Form 4
- Have a good understanding of Part 145 regulation and the application of this in aircraft maintenance.
- Hold a CAA or EASA maintenance engineers licence or other acceptable qualification
The successful candidate for this demanding role, shall be flexible, and have the ability to prioritise and problem solve, demonstrate good communication skills and able to work autonomously effectively managing a varied workload.
