Position Description

We are in search of an experienced Production/Process Engineering Manager for the following duities listed below.

 Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities and operations of an engineering department/project team.
 Develops and implements policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department/project team.
 Consults and negotiates with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings.
 Assigns, coordinates and reviews the technical work of the department or project teams.
 May participate directly in the design, development and inspection of technical projects or in the engineering work of the department/project team.
 Oversees engineering projects to ensure they are technically sound and in compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.
 Monitors the progress of on-going projects, makes recommendations for improving the process to meet the needs of the end-users, performs job cost reporting, budget analysis and reporting of overall project control.
 Determines if assistance is required from outside contractors, initiates arrangements, provides technical data and assists contractors with related support services.
 Exercises authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health, safety and the general employee relations of direct reports.
 Actively participates as a member of the appropriate management team(s), assisting with the development and realization of departmental strategic plans, budgets, goals and outcomes.
 Carries out special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements

University degree in an engineering discipline; or equivalent.

Previous technical leadership experience in a MRO environment required.

Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written
communication skills.

Strong project management skills.

Engine component experience required.

Working knowledge of PC's in the current company operating system environment.

Working knowledge of production management computer systems.

Thorough knowledge of company instruction, company process and quality manuals.

Must be able to work in the US.
