Job Description

Join Chromalloy, a leader in aerospace and gas turbine innovation. We're seeking an Engineering Lab Technician with a passion for learning and innovation.

Work Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (On-site)
Travel: Occasional (<25%)

This role is not available for new/future sponsorship or transfer of nonimmigrant work visas.

Position Overview:

As an Engineering Lab Technician specializing in Airflow Measurement, you'll be a key contributor to our groundbreaking work.  Your role involves equipment setup, testing, data analysis, and safety protocols in a collaborative environment, where the primary function is airflow measurement in gas turbine components. If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to drive innovation, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain airflow measurement equipment.
  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and report results.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers and engineers.
  • Assist in developing new testing capabilities.
  • Maintain clear records and communicate effectively.
  • Use MS Office Tools proficiently.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Two-year AA/AS degree or related technical certification is a plus.
  • 1+ years working in a technical laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and the use of mechanical shop tools.
  • Comfortable in setting requiring hands-on work.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to follow detailed instructions and guidance.
  • Adherence to established procedures and processes.
  • Proactive in seeking guidance and finding solutions to complete tasks on time.
  • Technical associate degree in area of specialty or High school diploma/GED and equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment is essential.
  • Able to accommodate occasional travel and overtime to support projects and meet program deadlines.
