My client is an innovative and entrepreneurial team of experts, involved in the development of clean and quiet electric propulsion aircraft.

As part of their ongoing success and growth, they are now seeking a Electrical Technician to join their team in Switzerland on a permanent basis.  As the Electrical Technician, you will be part of the systems integration team.


Main responsibilities:

· Create, adapt, and optimise testing installations including electric motor test benches.

· Perform integration and modification activities related to the installation of our electric propulsion system (motor, batteries, motor controller, cabling, relays, bus bars etc.)

· Assist the team responsible for the aircraft system integration

· Assist the R&D team with prototyping

· Performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

 


Ideal Candidate profile:

· Apprenticeship in automation /electromechanical with good knowledge of electricity

· Demonstrated experience and expertise typically 5+ years

· Demonstrated experience in assembly, maintenance and integration of electric machines and switchboards

· Demonstrated ability to follow through and bring projects to its completion

· Target-oriented, with analytic problem-solving capabilities

· Well organized including the ability to properly document

· Capacity to prioritise, manage time effectively and multi-task

· Good communication skills

· Fluency in English (oral and written), French an asset

· Candidates must already hold the right to live and work in Europe prior to application

· NB. Aerospace experience is not essential for this role
