Carry out design activities required to define the air-vehicle Electrical & Avionic Systems installation design including 2-D and 3-D design definitions as appropriate.
To carry out design activities required to define and integrate the air-vehicle wiring and harness design and installation, including harness routing definition, design and installation of avionic bays, instrument panels and electrical switchgear and protection panels.
To provide input and support to the manufacturing and procurement processes and systems related to EID.
Key Responsibility Areas
Responsible for assisting with the definition, design, development, integration and in-service engineering support for the system installation and/or wiring of the avionic, electrical and mission equipment for all company products/contracts. The primary areas of technical responsibility are as directed, to:
The activities will potentially encompass all EID office projects, from minor system modifications to initial development of new systems.
The activities are heavily dependent on system definitions from system engineering and suppliers, requiring close co-operation with those areas involved in system procurement.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Avionic, Electronic, Software or Electrical Engineering) or HNC/HND/BTEC and Apprenticeship.
Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant airworthiness regulations.
A good understanding of the aircraft manufacturing process.
