E-c ommerce Web Development Manager

(Budapest based)

E-Commerce Web Development Manager responsible for enhancing the web sales interfaces by participating projects and supporting product changes from the technical side, by leading the technical and analyst team. The holder of the role is responsible for the custom business logic of the channels, impact analysis in case of projects, tasks and problems, and inventing and introducing improvements.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the management of business analysis and project managers.

· Project management of the priority web projects

· Analysis, development and documentation of business requirements

· Evaluation and research of the rules and usage of the applications for constant improvement

· Review and report on development items and problems, keeping track of E-commerce business team assignments

· Continuous improvement of team efficiency by establishing best-practices

· Liaising with cross-functional business stakeholders

· Manage escalations on development related items in case resource conflict occurs

· Exploring, learning and sharing latest E-commerce and web trends, standards, benchmarks

Requirements:

· College or University degree

· Fluent written and spoken English

· Excellent communications skills

· Minimum 3 years of professional experience working with high traffic online IT services, in a multinational, multicultural cross-functional environment

· Solid understanding of latest web and mobile technologies, user experience best practices and trends

· Excellent web, Windows and office applications and computer skills

· People management skills, ability to work in a team to deliver projects

· Ability to test, and troubleshoot complex applications software

· Ability to understand business and technical requirements

· Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and in writing

· Able to work agile

· Open minded, with “can do will do” attitude
