On behalf of our client, a prestigious VVIP operation based in the Middle East, we are recruiting for a Director of Maintenance on a permanent basis. As the Director of Maintenance, you will be accountable for the ongoing evaluation, performance and management of the organisation's rotary focussed engineering and maintenance activities within a GACA / Part 125 environment.

Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of helicopter maintenance and engineering requirements.
- Detailed understanding of strategic planning principles surrounding aircraft operating processes and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of downtime analysis and good knowledge of problem-solving tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Proficiency in English (must).
· Detailed Regulatory and Compliance knowledge.
Experience, Qualifications & Licence
- 2 years of college or equivalent technical training, in related field preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Aircraft Engineering/Maintenance
- Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) Certificate mandatory
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) desired
- Required Inspection Item (RII)
- Minimum 15 years' experience in aviation maintenance
- Minimum 5 years of practical VVIP/corporate helicopter maintenance experience.
- Must be 'acceptable' to GACA as a Post Holder for Part 125
