Excel are currently working alongside a key client of ours looking for a Director of Flight Operations to join their company on a permanent basis. 

We are currently looking for lively and driven individuals with good communication and management skills. Candidates must have experience on business jet aircraft and should have experience managing a large aircraft fleet, pilots, ground operations as well as training and disciplinary responsibilities. Ideally candidates will hold an current ATPL license with a business jet type, however ex pilots will also be considered.

As the Operations Manager will be expected to develop company documentation & operational procedures, manage and develop the team of pilots to ensure excellent service is delivered, work alongside other departments to continue improving procedures and more. You will also be expected to support the procurement and commercial activities including tenders.

Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 50 hours per week however as this is a senior position you will require flexible availability on occasions. In return you can expect a competitive salary, pension, life assurance, private healthcare and more.
