Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

Under moderate supervision, work with a broad range of technologies to provide Digital circuit design for wireless communication systems.

More About this Role:

As part of the Digital Engineering Team, you will research, design, and develop complex circuitry for use in information processing hardware as well as various electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, equipment, and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop block diagrams of potential hardware design concepts from high level requirements.
* Rapid prototyping and/or simulation of hardware design concepts to validate their performance.
* Perform part selection and schematic entry for analog/digital circuit designs.
* Lead circuit design through layout by providing guidance on parts placement and critical routing.
* Troubleshoot prototype and production hardware in the lab using analog and digital test equipment.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Industry related experience.

Required Skills:

* Knowledge of Digital/Analog systems with some programming skills
* Good verbal and writing skills with attention to detail and ability to create technical documentation and plans
* Experience with Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and other advanced test equipment
* Understanding of Communications Systems & Signal Processing desired
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel to document, organize, chart data, analyze and present data for review
* The ability to rapidly prototype systems is desired

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Desired Certifications: (If applicable)

* Basic understanding of cellular systems and commercial cellular technologies (GSM, CDMA, LTE, UMTS and 3G/4G)
* Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment
* Knowledge of interfacing digital and RF components
* Knowledge of board development tools and change management systems.

There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Secret clearance
