Excel are recruiting on behalf of a well known aviation services provider undertaking a planned expansion and recent investment, requiring to build up it's team of Stores, Logistics, and Procurement Specialists.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Stores and Logistics Manager in the day to day operational running of the team which spans to stores management, procurement, logistics, and import/export. You will also be expected to support the manager in other areas including providing support and data for tenders, providing management information to support the wider business, team development and mentor-ship, and be able to take lead of the team when the manager is out of office.

For this position we are looking for a candidate who has at least 3 years of experience working in a part 145 maintenance organisation, demonstrated leadership experience, is able to build and maintain relationships with relevant OEMs and Logistics Companies, and has the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team which has a range of junior and senior members.

Our client is offering a competitive packaged for this position, and will happily discuss this at interview stage. The salary on offer will be around £40,000 dependent on experience.
