Demand Manager

Titchfield, £35,000-£40,000

Full Picture is proud to be hiring on behalf of a global client who is looking for a Demand Manager to join its team in Titchfield, Hampshire.

The role will be to focus on leading the improvement program for their site and to accelerate the deployment of the Aerospace wide Standard Materials Management initiative and demand management processes.

The Demand Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating the optimisation of demand flow from customer order to supply base.
  • Streamlining existing ERP (enterprise resource planning) procedures and creating roadmaps for the site to achieve ‘Class A’ ERP excellence levels.
  • Establishing and maintaining planning parameters in order to execute systems (such as MFGPro) to optimise inventory holding costs, piece price and logistical costs.
  • Driving the deployment of aerospace strategic ERO rules and ensuring the site achieves compliance.
  • Coordinating documentation of new processes with systematic training incorporated to ensure sustainable improvements.
  • Performing Value Stream Mapping of key processes, indentifying improvement bursts and facilitating improvement activity.
  • Facilitating the creation of feasible inventory reduction plans that are backed by process improvements.
  • Leading the implementation of production planning adherence and other key measures.
  • Driving culture of work order management within your own team, ensuring work order is released on time, material available and execution of order book.

The Demand Manager role would suit someone with the following credentials:

  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, MFG Pro experience is desirable.
  • Previous supply chain management or manufacturing experience.
  • Materials planning or master scheduling experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated performance management skills.
