The purpose of the Property Delivery Manager is to ensure all commercial land development and buildings are developed in a manner to assist the company with its business goals and targets. Key Functions in this role: * Developing Proposals jointly with the Development Manager. * Develop and issue the RFP documents for all consultant appointments (earthworks, infrastructure and buildings). * Manage the Design and PM team to ensure they meet cost, safety, quality and timeframe criteria. * Be responsible for the selection (tender) process of the main contractor with consideration to AIAL’s standards with respect to commercial competitiveness, safety, quality and ability to build to programme. * Foster relationships with contractors and consultants. * Manage the budget to ensure costs are kept within budget. * Promote a high level of Safety Management on all construction sites by reviewing Health & Safety Plans and assessing sub-contractors performance against them. * Undertake regular site safety audits. To be successful in this role you will have: * Minimum 5 years post graduate experience in construction/property industry * Professional Engineer status, i.e. C.P.Eng (or equivalent overseas qualification) * Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing teams (direct or consultant) * Minimum 2 years budget management experience of budgets of project budgets of at least NZ $ 5M * Experience of Building construction and earthworks/subdivision preparation Application for this role closes on the 13th of October.
