Regional Jet is an ACMI specialist based in Tallinn, Estonia. Regional Jet was established by Nordica in 2015 and is currently owned by Nordica and LOT Polish Airlines. Regional Jet operates a fast-growing fleet of modern CRJ700/900 and ATR72-600 aircraft on long term ACMI operations for major European airlines. 

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience as a postholder;
  • Preferably be a current type rating instructor on a type/class operated under the AOC;
  • ICAO English level-4;
  • Ability to work with a multi-cultural team;
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of the AOC holder's screw training concept for flight operations personnel;
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices and comprehensive knowledge of EU regulations related to operations and training procedures;
  • Possesses the right to live and work in the EU;
  • Readiness to work in Tallinn Office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate will be the nominated postholder for flight training and;

  • Maintain oversight of all Flight and Cabin Crew training activities performed at, or under the responsibility of, Regional Jet;
  • Maintain oversight of all Flight and Cabin Crew training activities performed at, or under the responsibility of, Regional Jet;
  • Ensure a high level of training quality in accordance with the Company policy;
  • Is responsible for any corrective action resulting from the quality/FDM monitoring;
  • Maintain high levels of quality, consistency and standardization among the instructors, outsourced training providers, and with counterparts at partner airlines;
  • Ensure that training syllabi are regularly reviewed for quality and suitability and are in accordance with Estonian CAA, EASA regulations, and Company OM-D;
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers, and other operationally relevant external entities;
  • Arrange and plan examinations with appropriate Authorities;
  • Ensure that all necessary facilities and equipment are available for planned trainings;
  • Supervise all initial ground and flight training for Regional Jet Crew Members.
