Maleth-Aero is passionate about travel and about its people. In support of our clients ACMI / Charter operations we are currently looking to recruit for the role of Crewing Controller. The role will be based at our Head Office situated at Malta International Airport with a shift pattern of 07.00-19.00 4 on 4 off rolling pattern.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the crew roster on a day-today basis, including allocation and re-allocation, as necessary, of duties to crew members, ensuring that all changes to published crew rosters are in accordance with the Company Approved FTL Scheme as contained in the Operations Manual. Ensuring that if any operations have taken place outside of the FTL Scheme that the details are passed to the Duty Manager Operations Control Centre at the earliest opportunity.
  • Liaison with the Duty Manager Operations Control Centre on duty with respect to the safe and efficient delivery of the flying programme.
  • Proactive feedback to relevant departments through the Duty Manager Operations Control Centre in respect of items / areas for change that affect the robust and cost-effective deployment of aircrew within the operations sphere of influence.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective co-ordination of the daily management of crew, hotels and transport requirements
  • Ensuring that all relevant Crew Duty Records are maintained in accordance with the Company Approved FTL Scheme.
  • Ensuring that the operations software employed, LEON, remains current and correct at all times.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Duty Manager Operations Control Centre or his / her deputy during periods of absence. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience working in a crewing environment or having previously operated as cabin crew
  • Sound knowledge of EASA Flight Time Limitations requirements
  • Proven ability to work under pressure 
  • Possess professional, friendly and team member personality
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Must have the right to live and work within the EU
