JMC Recruitment are seeking an experienced Crew Chief to run a dedicated bay for light aircraft and helicopters, for a busy and expanding MRO based in Hampshire. This well-known MRO already has a great reputation for maintaining and repairing narrow-bodied Boeing aircraft and will soon be adding the A320 family to their approvals.
Reporting to the Base Maintenance and Workshops Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the busy Light Aircraft and Helicopter bay. This is a hands-on leadership role, ensuring all maintenance is carried out in a safe, compliant and efficient way.
This is a permanent role and interested candidates will need the following attributes:
An EASA Part 66 B1 License with full group 3 type ratings. A B1/B2 licence would be highly beneficial
Additional type ratings including helicopters (EC135), Boeing 737 and 757 series or Airbus A320 would be a significant advantage.
Proof of Full Group 3 recency
Has experience working in a supervisory role
Works well within a team and is an effective communicator
Flexible and able to travel to other sites as required
EWIS, FTS 1 & 2, HF
Be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK
Additional type rating courses may be provided for the right candidate
The working pattern is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week with voluntary overtime available in busier periods. On offer is a competitive basic salary, overtime, approval pay and a generous holiday allowance. There is also an opportunity to be trained on additional type ratings for the right candidate. Relocation packages may also be available.
