Corrosion Control Shop Supervisor
Location: Tabuk, Saudi Arabia
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

To manage the Hawk Corrosion Control Shop, to achieve the goals of supplying serviceable aircraft to support customer requirements.
The efficient day to day running of the Hawk Corrosion Control Shop including:
Supervision of good engineering practice and compliance with RSAF Technical Orders in all aspects of Hawk Corrosion Control Shop Work.
Direct personnel to carry out TCTO’s and Special inspections as required.
Have a thorough knowledge of Aircraft Safety devices and Aircraft operating areas and ensure staff compliance of associated processes.
Support deployments to other bases within and out of KSA when required and be able to prepare equipment to support these deployments.
Manage and provide functional guidance to the programs in respect of any engineering issues that may arise within their work area as well as supervision of tool control and the KFAB SAFO program.
Be able to provide functional guidance to subordinates in respect of any engineering issues that may arise as well as liaise with Aeronautical Engineering Squadron on any outstanding Engineering Assist Requests.
Monitor all supply issues affecting the Hawk Corrosion Control Shop and implement BAE Systems human resources policies and procedures when required.
Providing up to date briefings and information to all concerned parties on daily progress and any issues affecting the Hawk Corrosion Control Shop.
Organising manning to provide an efficient operation of the Hawk Corrosion Control Shop.
Will be able to demonstrate experience in aircraft and aerospace ground equipment (AGE) Corrosion Control have proven supervisory experience in a relevant role.
Must be trained in aircraft and AGE corrosion control or a related technical discipline at a civilian or military school of technical training, or have completed an appropriate engineering apprenticeship.
Must have a sound understanding of the RSAF 4-1-7166 series and supporting technical publications applicable to the work area.
The job holder must be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to aircraft maintenance and support issues as well as able to motivate people in a mixed EE/SN workforce
Must have and be able to demonstrate sound oral and written two-way communication skills with the ability to be tactful, discreet and confident in dealing with people at all levels and able to work on own initiative to resolve complex technical issues.
The job holder will be computer literate with a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite and must hold a current driving licence.
Support the Superintendents in the assigned work areas during periods of absence by the incumbent and demonstrate experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering.
Must be trained in aircraft and AGE corrosion control or a related technical discipline at a civilian or military school of technical training, or have completed an appropriate engineering apprenticeship. Ideally to include extensive experience in an aircraft maintenance and servicing environment.
