Job Title: Composite Technician - 145

About the Company:
Our client has been designing, producing, certifying and assembling innovatory high added value seats for passengers travelling in business and first class for more than 80 years. With sites throughout the UK, they are now looking for Composite Technician - 145 to join them at their site in Surrey.
Applicants will be required to:
Repair components to engineering drawings or in accordance with agreed company documentation.
To complete all relevant documentation to demonstrate that repair, testing and inspection are to the appropriate quality standards
Self certify all work and complete orders in accordance with system requirements
Working with minimum of supervision using own initiative
To cross train where appropriate for full flexibility
Report and help solve any manufacturing problem that may occur
Actively participate and contribute to continuous improvement
Willingness to participate in improvement activity across the business
Must be prepared to undertake activities required out of the factory and when necessary outside the normal working hours
Must also be prepared to travel, and be present on working parties as needed
Must embrace change and be willing to adopt new skills to support all areas of the business
To be flexible in a team oriented environment
Skills and Qualifications:
Time served as an engineering apprentice.
Previous or similar product knowledge.
Good level of Maths and English.
The ability to use all types of air tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment associated with this work.
Prime Working Relationships:
General Manager 145, Value stream colleagues, Supervisor, Purchasing, Engineering (when necessary), Programme Management (when necessary)
To start as soon as possible
Working a minimum of 37.5hrs per week
