Compliance Monitoring Manager
Peak Performance Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a key client based in Mainland Europe in their search for an experienced Compliance Monitoring Manager.
Contract: Permanent Position – Full time
·Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations (AIR OPS etc. and their amendments)
·Knowledge of quality and compliance management, auditing practices
·Knowledge of Safety management principles, hazard identification and risk assessment
·Minimum 1-year practical experience in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
·Five years’ relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
·Compliance with AMC M.A.706 for Part M Quality Manager position
·Fluent in English (German is a distinct advantage but not essential)
·Very good communication skills
·Used to work unsupervised and independent
·Performs safety and compliance audits/inspections (internal and contracted activities)
·Ensures that the Compliance Monitoring System is properly implemented, maintained and continually reviewed and improved.
·Ensures that the activities of the organization are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements, and any additional internal requirements and procedures, and that these activities are being carried out properly under the supervision of the relevant head of functional area.
·Establishes and updates the Audit Plan in coordination with compliance monitoring personnel. Ensures that it is approved by the Accountable Manager and accepted by the competent authority.
·Supervises and accommodates all third party regulatory audits conducted within the organization.
·Ensures continues monitoring and evaluation of the corrective actions undertaken by the responsible Managers and Nominated Persons.
·Initiates and distributes recommendations to the Accountable Manager and Nominated Persons based on best practices and means of regulatory compliance.
·Administrates the Nominated Persons Quality Meeting.
·Regularly inform the Accountable Manager about the status of the compliance monitoring program.
·Maintains continuous liaison with the competent authority with respect to organizational and administrative matters.
·Ensures that compliance monitoring activities are properly documented and stored.
·Reviews changes and amendments to all applicable regulations and monitors its incorporation in the organization manuals.
·Maintains a compliance monitoring communication system in order to disseminate compliance monitoring related information.
·Ensures adequate auditing and regulatory training to the Auditors.
·Maintains training personal files and records of compliance monitoring Auditors.
·Ensures that the external personnel used to perform audits or inspections have relevant knowledge, background and experience as appropriate to the activities being audited or inspected.
·Manages and administrates Quality Module of IQSMS, provides necessary briefings and guidance for system users, if needed.
Edits compliance monitoring related amendments of Safety and Compliance Monitoring Manual (SCMM) in close cooperation with the Safety Manager.
