Commercial Estimator

The Commercial Estimator is accountable for stable, transparent, and traceable market-driven cost structures within the assigned business field. This function investigates, defines, and calculates the costing for the Aircraft Services products in order to support product management with tailored and fast available costing and performance figures, know-how, and guidelines.

Furthermore, the Commercial Estimator has a profound knowledge of the IT Landscape and IT Tools and is co-accountable for keeping those up to date. The Commercial Estimator leads improvement and development projects throughout the estimation environment and across the value streams and processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization;
  • To ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual; * Accuracy level of cost estimation per product line and cost element;
  • Standardize & improve AS Commercial processes;
  • Contribute to achieving EBITDA measured in Accuracy level of cost estimation;
  • Contribute to achieving Free Cash Flow target;
  • Control costs to ensure cost center budget savings;
  • Prevent inadvertent or hazardous operation leading to injury or loss of personnel or equipment; * Stick to the established approved standards and processes;
  • On-time delivery with set targets and levels, KPIs, CI;
  • Contribute to achieve EBITDA measured in accuracy level of cost estimation and contribute to achieving cash flow target;
  • Be self-motivated and continues to develop oneself;
  • Manage and keep housekeeping of the assigned working area/office.

Who you are?

  • Have a technical background such as planning or licenced staff;
  • Have previous commercial background;
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Be computer literate;
  • Be able to communicate well in English;
  • Be a good team player.
