Working with a team of engineers that are responsible for deployment, implementation, and support of large enterprise communications environment with Cisco collaboration infrastructure. Responsibilities include the engineering design and support of both Voice and Video systems. Configuration, support and deployment of the WebEx, WebEx teams, and Jabber client. Implementation of SIP trunks and routing protocols. Collaboration with partner networking and security teams. Hands on support for end users as needed with hands on support for the implementation and migration of both legacy voice and video systems to Cisco Collaboration suite.
Job Qualifications: The Network Engineer position requires an Bachelor's degree in an IT field with 4+ years applicable experience in the support and design of Voice and Video collaboration systems. Master's degree preferred. Experience to include:
CUCM Migrations and configuration up to and including 11.X CUCM/CUC 7.x to CUCM 9.x, 10.x, 11.x., deployment of Cisco UCS suite of applications including Jabber, Expressway, and UCCX to include call scripting. Experience with SIP trunk installation and configuration required. Proven experience with Cisco Telepresence systems: CMS, MX/DX/SX, and Spark series. WebEx and WebEx teams expertise required including hybrid services.
Experience with design and migration of legacy phone systems (Avaya, etc.) to cloud based (UCASS, etc.) required. Exceptional customer service skills required to perform end user support in training and/or hands on support during migration efforts. Preparation of engineering drawings, support documents, and Operational plans.
Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
