About The Job

This job is a member of the Technical Operations Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for managing the Engineering Co-op program.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* Assist the Engineering Department in completing and leading projects within the TEQ organization

* Provide technical insight to other departments

* Manage, plan coordinate and lead all aspects of interdisciplinary projects, including (but not limited to), the Cooperative (Co-Op) Education Program - establish relationships with Universities, attend job fairs, assist with diversity outreach efforts, onboard co-op students, ensure new co-ops have all necessary tools and systems access, schedule trips and coordinate events, etc.

* Oversee multiple, complex, projects with an efficient and cost effective strategy

* Work independently as a Project Manager for the development, design, and implementation of processes and procedures

* Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change

* Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

* Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

* This position requires moderate travel, mainly during seasonal recruiting events (around February / September), for several nights per week.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* ​Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Planning, Engineering, Project Management and/or equivalent education/ experience

* Ability to manage projects from inception to timeline management, tracking, implementation, evaluation and conclusion

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

* Proven Project Management skills, experience managing scope, schedules and budgets in a project environment​ Quantitative, analytical and problem resolution ability with a high degree of motivation

* Ability to think "outside the box"

* Strong people skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks while dealing with disruptions and change

Preferred Qualifications

* Project Management certification

* At least 3 years of experience in a Project Manager or Planner capacity

* Experience in recruiting students and/or contractors
