On behalf of our client, a prestigious VVIP operation based in the Middle East, we are recruiting for a Chief Pilot on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will direct and oversee the administration, control and deployment of the rotary flight crew ensuring compliance with GACA regulations and company standards for safety and high-quality service. The Chief Pilot will be responsible for the management and welfare of the company fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of the challenges of managing a VVIP dispersed helicopter operation.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft operating systems and processes and their impact on aircraft performance.
  • Detailed understanding of safety principles surrounding aircraft operating processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles surrounding aircrew rostering and fatigue management processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (strongly preferred).
  • Detailed Regulatory and Compliance knowledge.



Experience, Qualifications & Licence

  • At least 10 years of experience in helicopter flight operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience as PIC in an aircraft of a similar size or complexity as the AW139.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted under GACAR Part 121 or 125 or equivalent.
  • Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (H) certificate with AW139 type-rating.
  • Should be 'acceptable' to GACA as a Post Holder for Part 125
