Chief Engineer: Electrical Systems & Avionics

CAE Parc aviation are now accepting applications for a Chief Engineer position based in Switzerland. This individual will be responsible for developing the overall technical planning whilst providing airworthiness verification support.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving technical problems affecting cost and aircraft system performance.
  • Working closely with the leadership on review and approval of design solutions
  • Report on design reviews
  • Development of technical and product Road maps

The role requires someone with an engineering/technical background and experience with the following:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering
  • Strong experience as Chief Engineer or Senior Engineer in rotorcraft development
    • Proficient knowledge in :
      • EASA Part 21
      • CS 27/29
      • Aircraft and component testing
      • Aircraft qualification and certification
      • Aircraft in-service experience
  • Excellent communication in English, German would be an advantage
  • Proficient MS Office skills and SAP knowledge
  • Self-driven and able to work under strong pressure adhering to set deadlines
