A role exists for a fully qualified Chef with experience in Traditional and Modern Thai and Asian cuisine with Food Safety and HACCP knowledge.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Preparation of hot and cold foods (commercial quantities) * Stock control and minimize food wastage * Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times * Strictly follow menu specifications as well as food safety / HACCP policies * Demonstrate flexibility in regards to working on a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays
* Experience in Traditional and Modern Chinese and Asian cooking * Trade qualified Chef with at least 2 years proven experience in a high volume food production environment * Advanced knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety/QSAI and WHS is essential * Good written and verbal communication skills * Good knife skills * Strong organisational and time management skills * Motivated and hard working * Ability to work under pressure in a busy open plan kitchen * References and criminal police check required.
