Looking for experienced 121 Pilot-In-Command (PIC) for Anchorage. PIC will be qualified and responsible for the safe operation of our Saab 2000 aircraft, crew and passengers in accordance with FAR’s and our company policies and procedures.

We are Part 121 Regional Passenager Carrier that guarantees you a minimum of at least 72 hours a month.

Joining our team will allow you to further your career while gaining valuable company paid training. We offer:

* Competitive salary

* Rate of Pay starts at $69 / hr.

* $10,000 hiring bonus

* Current PenAir employees eligible for $2,500 Pilot Referral Bonus – Pilot must successfully complete OE. Must complete a referral form. One referral per pilot.

* Industry Experience Credit - Prior years of 121 or Saab 2000 or Saab 340 experience may be credited towards pay longevity up to 5 years.

* Military Experience Credit - Honorably discharged from active military service in ANY career field compensated (up to THREE years) with pay longevity. Winged Military Aviators considered for additional credit on a case-by-case basis.

* Health Insurance

* 20 days of paid vacation annually

* 401K

* Home every night in our Anchorage base.

Qualifications:

* Street Captain with Saab 2000 or Saab 340 experience, preferred.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
* ATP Certified.
* Current FAA First Class Medical.
* Valid Passport.
* Minimum 1000 hours in air carrier operations.
* Must have the ability to travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
* Complies with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s).
* Able to obtain airport security clearance, required.
* Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or Customs security badges.
* Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays and overnight trips.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Must be able to pass pre-employment fingerprint, background and drug testing.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
* Must possess excellent communication skills to include: ability to read, speak and write English.

Responsibilities:

* Safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.

* Performs the duties of Pilot-In-Command in accordance with the Company Flight Manuals.

* Complies with FAA Regulations.

* Ensure the assigned aircraft is airworthy and proper documents are onboard.

* Manipulate the flight controls of an aircraft while underway including taxing, take-off and landing of such aircraft.

* Make decisions to start, delay, or deviate when operating conditions dictate, with concurrence from dispatch.

* Responsible for and in command of the aircraft and crew.

* Direct the activities of the SIC, ensuring all flight crew members understand and completes with their duties using appropriate CRM.

* Communicates with Operations in a timely and efficient method.

* Notifies the company of maintenance issues, maintain aircraft maintenance log. Work as a team to ensure compliance.

* Ensure passengers are properly briefed for the proposed flight.

* Pilots are team members both in the cockpit (CRM), and with other operational departments.

* Pilots are expected to present a professional image at all times, including grooming standards and demeanor, as a key representative of the company to both external customers and internal employees.

* Complies with company policies, procedures and safety management system.

* Must be willing to mentor the SICs in aeronautical decision making. Other duties as assigned
