CAMO Post Holder – Malta

 

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting a CAMO Post Holder Engineer who is experienced on Dash aircraft and it would be beneficial if that experience were on the Q400

 

The successful candidate will be working directly for an airline and based in Malta on a permanent basis.

The CAMO Post Holder Engineer will responsible for the optimization of the effectiveness of the maintenance program, ensuring safety & reliability in order to keep the aircraft airworthy as much as possible

Responsibilities:

  •  Presentation of maintenance programmes to the competent authority.
  •  Apply all applicable airworthiness directives and operational directives.
  •  Establishment and development of maintenance programmes.
  •   Manage the approval of modifications and repairs.
  •  Ensure that modifications and repairs are carried out to an approved standard.
  •   Ensuring the validity of the Certificate of Airworthiness.
  • Application/Review of the continuing airworthiness management.
  •   Perform an Independent Audit of the Quality System.
  •  Ensure that maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance programme.
  •  Management of defects and ensuring they are rectified or deferred as appropriate.
  • CAMO Team lead - Guiding the training and development.
  • Key influencer in business development and management strategies.

 

Requirements:

  •  EU valid work permissions is a must
  • University Degree in Aeronautics or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a CAMO working with the Q400 aircraft preferably
  • Previous Form 4 experience is ideal but not essential
  • Knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-145 requirements and national regulations
  • Thorough understanding of airline systems and maintenance operations
  •  Previous experience dealing with regulatory authorities and in-depth knowledge of EASA regulations
  •  Demonstrated leadership and management skills and ability to work as part of an integrated management team
  •  Advanced ability to problem-solve and react positively to all types of difficult situations
  • Good communicator and an excellent motivator and team orientated person
  • Excellent skills in personal computer operation, word processing, and spreadsheet
  • Excellent command of English language
