CAMO Engineer Planner

Gulf Med Aviation Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Technical Planner Engineer to join our CAMO department at the GMAS Hangar, Safi Aviation Park, Malta International Airport. In this role, you will support the CAM Manager by planning and ordering maintenance tasks, compiling work packs, and ensuring parts and consumables are scheduled for upcoming inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and order all tasks in accordance with the AMP
• Assess maintenance tasks and define sub-tasks
• Compile line and base maintenance work packs as applicable
• Determine parts, tooling, and equipment required for upcoming line and base maintenance requirements
• Ensure parts and consumables are scheduled in accordance with upcoming line and base maintenance inspection requirements
• Support cost calculations of inspections and tasks
• Support logistics functions with required information
• Review completed aircraft maintenance work packs for task completion and verify that forecast maintenance schedules correspond with AMP requirements
• Monitor and maintain helicopter maintenance forecasts and schedules
• Analyze which parts, tooling, and equipment are required for inspections

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in a base maintenance environment on aircraft/helicopter
• Understanding of complex maintenance tasks and critical inspections requiring independent inspection
• Understanding the fundamentals of planning an aircraft inspection and the financial implications of planning actions
• Knowledge of EASA regulations 1321/2014 and AMC material, Human Factors in Aircraft Maintenance training
• Holder of or having held an EASA Part-66 license is an advantage
• Fluent in English (oral and written) to understand manufacturer’s approved data and organization’s documents
• Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel)
• Ability to write technical reports

Preferable:

• Rotary wing experience; Airbus and/or Leonardo Helicopters
• Eligible to live and work in the EU
