Job title: Cabin Standards Mechanic

Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year. We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are looking for a Cabin Standards Mechanic to join Line Maintenance team based at Gatwick.
The role of Cabin Standards Mechanic will be responsible, under supervision of the shift leader; for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the cabins. You will be familiar with the maintenance of commercial aircraft and be able to work efficiently whilst meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Perform inspections on aircraft cabin according to current authorisation level and sign-off privileges
Repair aircraft seats and other non-electrical aircraft interior components. To Part 145 and other regulations/standards
Ensure all work is carried out to the relevant quality standards both from a customer requirement and CAA compliance
Be responsible for your own health and safety and for that of your colleagues as set out in the Health and Safety Policy
Follow all necessary security procedures
Perform the job in line with the Company's policies and procedures
Demonstrable experience as a Cabin Mechanic / Aircraft Mechanic
Have a strong demonstrated commitment to detail, precise and high-quality work
Be a good team player
Be ready to work shifts including weekends
Amos knowledge an advantage
Microsoft office packages to an intermediate level
ICAO Level 5 English speaking or equivalent (If English is not your first language)
Having completed an Aircraft Engineering technical course or apprenticeship would be advantageous
