STS Technical Services is Hiring Business Development Specialists – Industrial in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

Under guidance from the Director of Sales, grow sales through established distribution targets, identify and open new distributors and establish long term sales relationships. Achieve stated sales goals yearly.

Job Responsibilities:

* Identify growth opportunities, pursue and build business relationships, and secure sales within stated targets, primarily focusing on distribution network

* Increase sales of all relevant Bradley products utilizing practical field plumbing or construction experience

* Utilize existing construction experience to establish credibility with sales targets and internal design team

* Build awareness of Bradley product applications via identified distribution targets

* Identify and pursue sales opportunities

* Consult with internal Bradley design team on variations to existing designs in order to secure sales

* In conjunction with Director of Sales, develop sales goals and growth strategy

* Achieve stated sales and profit goals

* Participate in trade shows as required

* Travel 65% of time

* Other related duties and projects as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree in business or related field, strongly preferred

* Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in the plumbing or construction field

* Proven ability to identify key targets and make cold calls

* Working knowledge of the construction and/or bid spec market preferred

* Must be willing and able to travel 65% of the time

Competencies:

* Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective listening skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Must have effective presentation skills, and the ability to respond in a clear, and concise manner to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

* Customer Service – Ability to build effective internal and external relationships, identify customer expectations, see issues from their point of view, and offer recommendations and appropriate follow through

* Quality – Must be detail oriented and have great organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced environment

* Organization – Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and work successfully in a fast-paced environment

* Leadership – takes charge of a situation and inspires others to take action toward the accomplishment of a goal

* Mathematical – Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

* Problem Solving – Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Must be capable of defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions

* Adaptability – Receptive to change. Provides a positive influence when change is necessary

* Initiative – Self directed and action oriented. Likes to be challenged. Knows how to get things done through peers and/or subordinates, and the use of organizational process/systems. Exhibits political savvy

* Analytical – Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations, must be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
