Captains, Argentina - Pilots
Norwegian is the sixth largest low-cost carrier in the world with around 10,000 dedicated colleagues. Our customers can choose from over 500 routes to more than 150 destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Thailand, the Caribbean and America.
We were founded in 1993, but only began operating as a low-cost carrier with bigger Boeing 737 aircraft in 2002. Today, we are one of the world’s fastest growing airlines. We are constantly introducing brand new aircraft to our fleet, as well as launching new routes and establishing new bases in Europe, Asia and the US. Today, we have around 150 aircraft and boast one of the world's youngest and greenest fleets with an average age of just 3.6 years. New aircraft is a win-win for the customers, the environment and the company's costs and is key in order to maintain our vision of offering affordable fares for all.
We also have over 250 aircraft on order - the biggest aircraft order in Europe, which means that in the coming years, we will take delivery of brand new Boeing 737-800s, Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Boeing 737 MAX 8, Airbus A320neos and Airbus 321 Long Range aircraft.
After a successful 2018 recruitment campaign we are now opening more opportunities to join our expanding team in Argentina. Norwegian is now looking for Captains to operate a young fleet of B737 based in Argentina. Selected applicants will be employed by Norwegian Air Argentina S.A.U and be based in Buenos Aires. You will take part in Norwegian's growing global network and future opportunities may include transition to the Long Haul fleet as well.
Direct Entry Captains B737 – Type & non Type-Rated Qualifications:
• ANAC ATPL Argentine License
• ANAC Class 1 Medical
• 4000 h Total Time
• 2000 h on Commercial Jets => 30T MTOW
• 500 h PIC on Commercial Jets => 30T MTOW
• 150 hours within the last 12 months
• English, language proficiency “ICAO” level 5 or higher.
• Be able to read and write English and Spanish
• No criminal record or accident
• Argentine Citizen and passport

The recruitment process:
The first step is to fill out and submit your CV and application. You will then receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of your application.
To be considered for the position you need to meet all the minimum requirements and have successfully registered your different flight hours in your CV under the section “Competence Section”. You also need to upload a copy of your flying license, a copy of your passport and a picture of yourself under the section “Attachments”.
